Perhaps the most important benefit we offer is the instruction by a Board Certified Physician, Dr. Lawrence Janowski. Dr. Janowski has extensive experience in the use of cosmetic lasers as well as injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers and has a wealth of knowledge to impart. Rather than being trained solely by estheticians or nurses, we feel it is important that you learn from top practitioners in their field. Other physician instructors include Dr. Glenn Herrmann, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and Dr. Barry Platnick, a Vascular Surgeon specializing in the treatment of leg veins. Highly qualified professional estheticians will be contributing to your training as well, giving you a well-rounded and thorough education.

Another critical difference lies in the quality of the practical laser training portion of our course. While other training programs offer mainly observation, video or minimal hands-on training, our course is designed specifically to maximize your experience handling lasers and treating clients. Our practicum is taught in a real medical spa environment, using the offices of Dr. Lawrence Janowski and his cosmetic laser center, New Image Laser and Skin. Here you will be trained on state-of-the-art equipment in an atmosphere that reflects the modern medical spa setting you may find yourself working in. You will have a true-to-life experience of how a client is handled from start to finish, including the consultation, photography, treatment, and post-treatment protocols. All safety protocols are covered as well. Most importantly, you will be an active participant in every step of this process. Sixteen hours of direct, hands-on training is provided. Dr. Janowski and his staff will be teaching you all laser procedures.
