Comprehensive Medical and Cosmetic Laser Training Courses

The Mile High Laser Training Institute offers a comprehensive
40-hour intensive program that covers all aspects of the growing medspa environment. This course is designed to provide you with all of the tools necessary to succeed as a cosmetic laser technician. You will receive hands-on training from Dr. Janowski and other experienced professionals under Dr. Janowski's direct supervision, covering every dominant clinical application in the cosmetic environment, including:

•  Laser hair removal
•  IPL
•  Photodynamic therapy
•  Fractional laser resurfacing
•  Radiofrequency skin tightening
•  Vascular lasers
•  Tattoo removal

Dr. Janowski is also allowing each student to intern for one week in his medical practice.

In addition to comprehensive practical training, thorough didactic instruction on all technologies will be given, including all of the theory and background information needed to fully understand the use of lasers.

In order to become a well-rounded practitioner, it is important that you not only receive proper laser training, but that you are familiar with every aspect of the medical spa environment. That is why we include many related subjects that are critical to your complete education. Other important topics that will be covered include:

•  Procedures and protocols in the medical spa setting
•  Skin anatomy and physiology
•  Laser physics
•  Understanding Botox® and dermal fillers
•  Review of invasive vascular procedures
•  Role of the esthetician in the plastic surgery environment
•  How to perform a proper consultation and skin evaluation
•  How to deal with complications
•  Full laser safety course, leading to laser safety certification
•  Secrets to success in the medspa environment

You will sit for your laser safety certification examination at the conclusion of the course. A comprehensive review is offered prior to testing. 8 CEU nursing credits will be earned for completing our ANSI Certified Laser Safety course.

Upon completion of this course you will have all of the skills necessary to perform laser treatments on a wide variety of individuals in just about any type of medical spa environment you will encounter.
